Happy Memorial Day & items for sale :)

I also wanted to add a quick picture of my husband since I am so proud of him for his time that he served in the Army. He was deployed to Iraq & Afghanistan and even though it was so hard to be away from him I knew he was protecting our wonderful country. Here is a picture of him when we picked him up from the airport after his deployment to Afghanistan for the entire year of 2007.

I hope everyone remembers why we celebrate Memorial Day and never forgets the sacrifices our men & women in uniform have made for us.

Altered wooden boxes

Hey guys,

Here is a project I did for my two nieces as a Easter gift a few weeks ago. They love to have "treasure" boxes to put stuff in. They are just plain wood boxes from Michael's that I painted & added flowers and a charm to. The flowers are mostly from iamroses and they were sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Dazzling Diamonds. I love this Glimmer Mist!! I want to spay it on everything :) I also added two charms to each one that I got from Hobby Lobby and there is an acrylic flower on each one that I got on Etsy.

Hi everyone,
I know I've been gone for a long time....life sorta got in the way. It seems like there is never enough time. I've decided to make more me time for my crafting so I hope to be able to update my blog at least once a week with what I'm working on.

Halloween Goodies
